Stroll through the City
by the Bay with renowned artist Wendy MacNaughton in this collection of illustrated documentaries. (March 18, 2014)

Walking San Franciscosfheart suggests you shop for your books at one of the independent book stores in San Francisco or in the community where you live.  When I came to San Francisco in 1966, there were many small independent book stores tucked in all over our city and one of my favorite pastimes was to go out and discover them.  Today's Independent book stores are often struggling to remain open so when you see a book on any of sfheart's recommended lists that interests you, please ask for it at your local independent bookstore. If they do not have it in stock, they are often willing to special order it for you. It is important that we support the independent books stores in our neighborhoods.

I hope you will enjoy browsing through the my recommended lists of books about my beloved city, San Francisco, the films made in or about San Francisco, and abundance of suggestions for music
and books, many about my still treasured hippie days, and more. ~ Nicole Savage, SF Heart
