Lindley Meadows
30th Avenue and John F. Kennedy Drive

Lindley Meadows was a lovely place for concerts. The Grateful Dead returned here in 1975 to play a concert with Jefferson Starship. The crowd was 35,000 people. I can truthfully say that all I remember of it is that it was the last party in the park I attended for quite some time. By then I had married and was a wife and mother.
My wild hippie daze days were over. I had entered a new era in my life. I had grown Peace and Love in my heart and my focus was to instill those values in my child.
He did grow up to be an honest and loving young man, although a Republican.
