I received a exquisite book as a gift some years ago. Since then other books on the subject have been publisted but so far, this book remains my personal favorite. The photographs are stunning and the journeys, guided by the Indian Medicine Wheel was very interesting to me. Sacred Places in North America is now out of print. Fortunately there are still new and used copies available for purchase.
